The athletes competed at Dantzler Stadium throughout the day.
Athletes aren’t the only ones who headed out as students from the high school came out to support all who competed.
Two of those students share it was their first time attending the games. Moss Point High student Ji’Meia Durden said, “It’s actually a great experience, I’ve never been out here before. I’ve never experienced like this; it’s a great experience. I’m out here supporting Henry, I know he did great because I see him at school and he’s always doing great.”
Moss Point High student Ja’Keleen Murray said, “It’s a blessing, first and foremost. I thank God I can be out here. I thank God everyone can be out here. It’s pretty great, a great experience and I’m just blessed to be here.”
