The breed in question is the Cockapoo, which is a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle, and Cecilia shared with viewers "the good, the bad and the ugly" traits of the popular dog.

The trainer explained that she has worked with a lot or Cockapoos and said that there is a lot of misinformation out there about them.

Starting with their good traits, she said that the breed can be family friendly, if they are trained properly, and are hypoallergenic, which is good for people who suffer with allergies.

She added that they are "pretty darn friendly" and are high energy, which she noted can be a good thing or a bad thing.

Cecilia then moved on to discuss the bad things about the breed.

She said that although they can be good family dogs, they can be incredibly highly strung.

"This is why I wouldn't recommend Cockapoos for families with very, very young children."

Cecilia revealed that the "very, very ugly" side to Cockapoos is that they can be prone to resource guarding, which is when a dog becomes defensive, in order to keep you away from a particular item, such as food or a toy, that they treasure.

The dog trainer explained that the breed also needs a lot of mental stimulation, as they are so intelligent.

She said: "You need to make sure that they have proper mental stimulation, otherwise you are going to have a problem on your hands.

Cecilia revealed that the breed also has a tendency to pick up "anything and everything" off the streets, and are prone to Pica, which is the eating of things which are not foods.

She added that they have a lot of intolerances and allergies and said that they are notorious for being puppy farm dogs as "there's no regulations on the breeding".

Cecilia's video has likely struck a chord with many people as it has gone viral, racking up over 109,000 views on the video sharing platform.

TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts, and many disagreed with Cecilia's comments.

One person said: "My Cockapoo is none of this, he is a loving well behaved dog".
