Volodymyr Zelenskyy got ‘lesson in diplomacy’
Wow, that meeting at the White House between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy really blew up.
Some people were surprised by this, but it really is in line with the new world order as proclaimed by President Trump.
When Russia invaded Ukraine three years ago, most of us poor fools thought Ukraine was an innocent victim of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s ruthless aggression.
Here’s the real story, according to Mr. Trump …
Ukraine, led by their bull-headed dictator Zelenskyy, brought all this trouble upon themselves. They provoked poor Russia and could have avoided this whole war if they had been willing to make a deal with Putin. When the United Nations voted on a resolution condemning Russia’s aggression, the United State stood proudly with Russia and North Korea in voting against it. This was certainly one of our nation’s finest moments. After President Trump and Mr. Putin had put together a fantastic deal to end the war, Zelenskyy screwed it all up.
President Trump really likes doing deals. He especially wants to do deals with Mr. Putin and his rich friends.
Mr. Trump has remarked, “I know some Russian oligarchs and they are very nice people.”
The problem is Zelenskyy won’t be friends with Mr. Putin and keeps saying things about him that are not nice.
At the White House meeting, Zelenskyy said that Putin is not trustworthy. Well, this understandably sent Mr. Trump into a real hissy fit.
Vice President JD Vance piled on and told Zelenskyy he had a lot to learn about diplomacy.
Then, Mr. Trump threw Zelenskyy out of the White House. He didn’t even get to stay for lunch. I’ll bet that’s a lesson in diplomacy he won’t forget.

3 school board candidates embody ‘Love all, exclude none’
As long as I live, I will never forget the words my parents stood by in raising their 14 children: “Love all, exclude none.”
This belief was handed down to them from their Christian faith, as well as from their wide study of world religions. It formed and guided me through many a trial as a follower of Jesus.
This principle is exemplified in the lives and work of three outstanding candidates for the Sheboygan Area School District School Board.
Mary Lynne Donohue is a long-time community activist, having served on the Sheboygan Common Council, the Police and Fire Commission and Legal Services of NW Wisconsin. She is currently president of the SASD School Board.
Allie Tasche has worked as an inclusion specialist and instructional coach with SASD, served as vice president of national programs at the Autism Society of America and was appointed to a recently vacant seat on the SASD School Board.
Denise Wittstock is the executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters Shoreline (Sheboygan), worked as volunteer service director for the United Way of Manitowoc County and as manager of volunteer services and animal-assisted therapy at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Arizona.
These three candidates’ whole lives embody “Love all, exclude none.” They are whom I would want serving the needs of all of our children on the SASD School Board.
Vote for Mary Lynne Donohue, Allie Tasche and Denise Wittstock April 1.

A cautionary tale on measles
“Go to an old cemetery. See all the baby graves from before the 1950s & ’60s. After that, hardly any. That’s when people started vaccinating their children against deadly childhood diseases. If you’re unsure what to do to protect your kids, the answer is literally written in stone.” — Michael Okuda
One child has died in Texas and 18 are hospitalized due to measles. Measles is so contagious that 9 of 10 unvaccinated people will contract the disease if exposed. Only 84.8% of Wisconsin kindergarteners were up to date on their measles vaccine in 2024.
RFK Jr., secretary of H&HS, has made millions of dollars spreading vaccine misinformation. He downplayed the current measles outbreak and he canceled a meeting geared toward the upcoming 2025-2026 flu season.
Elon Musk, under direction from Trump, has joked about making massive cuts to crucial public health programs and life-saving research.
Measles, bird flu and the seasonal flu are on the horizon. If your child isn’t vaccinated against measles, get them vaccinated. Call your representatives and tell them to reinstate the scientists fired from the CDC. Vote for Judge Susan Crawford for the Supreme Court on April 1 (Musk has donated $5.2 million to the challenger, Brad Schimel.)
A family is walking in a cemetery looking at the headstones. A teenager asks her mother, “What happened in 2025 to 2029? Why did so many kids die?” “I’ll tell you what happened,” the mother replies. “Trump, RFK Jr. and Musk happened, and we did nothing to stop it.”
