Theo Burrell, an expert on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, has admitted she’s feeling “anxious” as she lives with incurable brain cancer.
The 37-year-old antiques specialist has grade 4 glioblastoma, which was diagnosed in June 2022.
Theo, a mum of one, has previously indicated she may have “only a year or two left to live”.
But having reached nearly two years since she was given such terrible news, brave Theo is raising funds to help others also suffering with brain tumours.

Addressing her followers on Instagram, Theo shared how she will be abseiling in Aberdeen later this month. Sponsorship will go to Brain Tumour Research. She also noted how an imminent scan is also likely to cause her some anxiety, too.
Theo reflected in her post: “Today also marks 23 months since I was diagnosed with brain cancer. I really had no idea whether I would still be here when I was given the news that I had a brain tumour.

“I didn’t take a life expectancy, but I know my chances of still being well (so far) with no regrowth (so far) were not particularly favourable.”

She went on: “I continue to find the mixture of emotions a rollercoaster, and little landmines of fear and upset go off without any warning at times.”
‘Anxiety about my upcoming results’
Theo continued by acknowledging how she makes every effort to remain positive.
She added: “As I head into a scan this afternoon, and the anxiety about my upcoming results looms, I’m hanging onto my old friend hope to see me through.”
Moved social media users offered their best wishes to the “brave and inspiring” TV personality.
“Fingers and toes crossed for a good scan result. Thinking of you,” one person wrote in Theo’s post’s comments section.
A second wrote: “Thanks for the update Theo. Sending positive vibes for good results.”
While a third said: “Amazing as always Theo. Braver than me! I hope your scan goes okay.”
