How do millionaires spend Christmas?

When it comes to Simon Cowell , he's a creature of habit with the same plans every year - and they never involve stressing over roast potatoes.

We take a look at what the X Factor mogul does on Christmas Day, which he'll be spending with his son Eric this year. There's no expense spared and everything from the booze to his beloved dogs is looked after.

Simon now spends Christmas with his partner Lauren

Simon always flies to Barbados for Christmas.

He will be staying at his home on the Island with partner Lauren and son Eric.

FOOD

Simon's son Eric will be spoiled on Christmas Day

A notoriously fussy eater, Simon flies out his personal chef to make his Christmas dinner, which of course will be washed down with lashings of his favourite Spanish beer Corona.

His brother Tony Cowell told Best magazine that Simon despises Turkey so orders his chef to do his special roast chicken. It will probably be plain as Simon is as famous for his hate of "fancy food" as he is withering looks.

Tony said: “Long before Eric came along, Simon’s Barbados Christmas Day would read: Get up at 2pm, breakfast of spinach smoothie, toast and honey, and tea. 3pm, jet-ski for hour. 4pm, sunbathe then nap. 9.30pm, Christmas dinner (roast chicken, not turkey). Simon is a creature of habit.

“If you spend Christmas with him, be prepared to fit into his schedule."

GIFTS

There will likely be a lot of presents for son Eric - who, Simon explained, loves all things Peppa Pig and Disney.

He said: "Eric will be getting lots of toys. Peppa Pig is his favourite and he likes all the Disney stuff as well, so I'm sure that will feature from Father Christmas."

DOGS

Tony also revealed in his Best magazine column Simon, 58, takes a private jet to Barbados so his pet Yorkshire terriers can join him and not go into kennels.

He said: “Yes, Squiddly and Diddly travel with him on his jet.”

He added: “I genuinely hope Simon and Lauren can relax away from the pressure.”
